The Chainlink Eel is commonly referred to as the Chainlink Moray Eel or, simply, the Chain Moray Eel. With its whitish-brown body and brown, black, or gray chain markings, it will make a graceful appearance in your tank. It can grow up to 28 inches in aquarium so it's recommended it be kept in a tank no less than 125 gallons. The Chainlink Moray is not considered reef safe, as it will eat any crustaceans or small fish in your aquarium. Since the Chainlink Eel feeds mostly on small fish, this eel can be kept with large aggressive fish such as triggers and puffers when introduced at a young age. We suggest you to keep a few caves and live rocks in the aquarium to provide them with a more natural environment. They need to be kept with a lid on the aquarium at all times, as like all eels they will jump given the chance.
